User talk:Tamzin/Plurality and multiplicity FAQ
Additions!
[edit]Hello! We have an essay linked on our user page that I think could be helpful to link under the "other roles" part, if you wanted! Also, for us at least some persecutors/prosecutors/even protectors are aggressive towards people in the innerworld/outside of the system. I know that it can give a bad reputation of systems, considering the "evil alter" stereotype, but could be helpful to know. I think Innerworld and outerworld are important vocab words as well! Wikipedia Space
[edit]I would really enjoy this in the WP space because finding other plural people& on wp is really neat. The more practical reason is it explains how to interact w/ us for ppl who are Singlets (jargon) Lillia (She/They&) 17:19, 17 May 2025 (UTC)
- @Nullnominal: I've avoided doing that for two reasons: 1) It has elements that are personal to me as an individual and wouldn't make sense in projectspace. And 2) This essay presents a specific viewpoint—my viewpoint—without needing to match anyone else'. In other words, I own this essay. If someone adds something to it that goes against my own views on plurality, I can simply revert them. Given how many people (plural and otherwise) have strongly-held idiosyncratic views on plurality, and how little high-quality research there is on the topic, I don't want this to be the subject of any kind of proxy war in projectspace. I already have to deal with that from time to time with two essays I wrote on difficult culture subjects, WP:Editors' pronouns and WP:Hate is disruptive. In those cases, the centrality of the topics to Wikipedia editing meant the essays had to be in projectspace. But this one we can get away with keeping in my userspace. But of course, you are welcome to link to this essay even with it in userspace! -- Tamzin[cetacean needed] (they|xe|🤷) 18:32, 17 May 2025 (UTC)
