January 27th, 2026: More work, I woke up at 6:30am, had cereal, and got to the bus. At work I had to help out Portia with resetting the Windows login for the Rastafarian’s password. Edgar talked to me about him thinking the party was tomorrow instead of tonight so he would have custody of his kids today and had to keep them occupied. I helped out a bit more and complimented the CEO on his marvelous outfit. I did some tinkering around with the cascading style sheets and finally managed to get a consistent coloring for the entry boxes. Wun Wun found some magnets and put them on his cubicle. Ahwahn tried to organize a meeting with me today but when I told her it would be before 1:30pm, she never replied. The older Ukrainian woman came over to ask me about her password resetting every two months and to reset it for me. I did that with the Ukrainian man when I found out he didn’t have access to Google Admin so that was something to talk to Seth M about. I had to help the website guy with an issue where he couldn’t use Microsoft office products on his Mac so I told him to download LibreOffice for the time being until Seth M would get back to fix it. I left the office at 1:21pm and had to walk to the place I took the bus in the cold and got off. I walked to the library and got an energy drink to chug down. I passed by Day and said:
“Good day to you!”
She cheerfully replied:
“Good day to you too!”
I went to the hall with brutalist architecture and went inside to wait. Nash joined me and then we went inside to see all the chairs re-arranged in a circle. It was mostly people from the Catholic center I saw come in like Markus’ brother, Mahdi, Mercurius, Seraphim, Nash, Drawmija, Elijah, and Kaufman. Our introduction was to have read pages 1 through 43 before class. The professor introduced himself and told us his last name means Horseradish and this class would be more old fashioned with forbidding recording the audio of the class and requiring all notes being taken on pen and paper and forbidding the usage of AI. When we went around to introduce ourselves, I took note of what people I knew said for their favorite books were, here’s how it went:

We had a discussion about how through Christ the barbarians when sacking the Roman empire spared all the people who hid in church during the sackage. Also how cruel the Roman gods were to their own populace. I was able to participate thankfully. I went to the bookstore to buy the same copy of the Penguin classics version of City of God almost everyone had and walked back in the severe cold. At home I labored to transcribe the CEO’s recording yesterday and changed outfits for the dinner party. I ran to my bus and narrowly missed it at 5:22pm but walked to another route that would get me closed and got on 10 minutes later. I got off and it was at a very fancy building with our party on the second floor. I got up and off at the coat hangup. I hung out with Edgar telling Staples and a volunteer a story that I couldn’t understand so I took my tag and went to a table to sit down when the Indian lady invited me to sit down with a Muslim woman who was Mauer’s wife. Threes, Tia, Wun Wun and his friend, and Mauer. Wun Wun’s friend’s 20th birthday was 2 days ago on the 25th and I found out that Wun Wun was only 19, he was surprised because I’m 22 and can order a Rum and Coke. I tried socializing with the many others there (the CEO, the Latinx lady, Fives and her daughter, the Ukrainian man and his wife, Elon, the younger Ukrainian woman, Keke plus her sister Makeke and their kinda trashy looking parents, Portia and her husband, Joy, the Polish lady, Lillehammer and her husband plus her parents, the many board members, Zach A plus his mom and sister, Zarith C plus Shima C, the website guy plus his wife, the Afghani man and a guy who looked like his brother, the Afghani lady, Kiana, and the new receptionist plus her boyfriend) we had bread as a first course at our spots and Mauer talked about on Friday while it was cold out that some guy was walking and took them to the Islamic center. There was discussion about the Muslim men who prayed and people only said they saw the Afghani man and Wun Wun do it but I haven’t seen it either. I took some pictures in the mirror with Wun Wun on his insistence. Wun Wun told us that he knew his friend since elementary school. I got the fish meal and ate it while Tia was talking about skipping her diet for today. I loved the fish meal but the others didn’t think that way because after cleaning off the plate, there was talk about the food being better last year, the Indian lady got the veggie option while Mauer’s wife offered me her food, I wolfed that down also. Seth M came in later and he sat with us to make it 9 at the table. I talked with him a bit and we had dessert. I got a second one from Wun Wun. We then danced as a group and I alternated between doing it and not before I left at 9:00pm, I went home and took a shower before going to sleep.
