The City of Warwick learned in a Zoom call Feb. 26 that Rhode Island T.F. Green International Airport would be closing its main runway beginning next month and lasting through October for repaving, although exact dates were not confirmed.

The main runway at Green Airport was in high use Monday afternoon as planes, heading into the wind, cleared Airport Road to touch down on the tarmac.
