I will go to bat for Daisy as a new name for Jax for many reasons, but honestly, the main one is that I just think it's a really fun Chekhov's gun
... Like Daze already has a small association with a feminine name that's nothing like the old one she's implied to dislike!
And it's associated with one of her few good memories in the circus! with a friend that's actually still with her!
It both makes sense in-story that she'd choose it and wraps it together neatly!
