If I could tell you what has happened to me I would but this is serious and I only share this info with family and Dr. Fisher. First of all, this is medication management ONLY. And because of my specific issue, this is exactly what I needed. So if you need talk therapy, you need someone else. He understands my situation and yes i do have to see him once a month, but that is to be sure that proper dosage is being met, not for insurance. I guess all in all it depends on the person and the PERSONAL reason for seeing him. For YOU, he might not be what you need. You may need more talk therapy. Some of us need to get to a certain level to continue our lives in peace.

I fully agree with all the input regarding this "doctor's" scam for insurance money. Though he seemed okay to me during the first few visits, once I started questioning the huge number of medications he prescribed for me during our 3 minute meetings (for which he is charging the insurance company for an hour), he became belligerent and basically mean. His attitude would be unacceptable from any kind of doctor, let alone a doctor in the business to help people with their mental and emotional problems! This isn't medical management; this is money management! I worry for those whose problems are more severe than mine who are now trapped in his care...
