We’re talking a LOT of images (I’ll bring the exact numbers next update 👀) and almost 400 lines of dialogue EACH. This was originally ONE massive chapter, but I split it into two to make the pacing smoother and the experience way better for you.

First of all: Sorry for the absence. Unfortunately, family issues struck again. 😒

Alright, I believe I’ve found the issue with the HTML version of the game. Actually, there’s a cheap and effective way to make it work.

The solution is: split Lending into two parts.

If you download Lending for android, windows or linux, it will still count as one single game, but inside it will be divided into Lending Part 1 and Lending Part 2.

However, if you decide to play it on HTML, one page will contain Part 1 and another will contain Part 2. This works well because my games are already divided by chapters, meaning you can choose which chapter to play without affecting the story flow.

This will help avoid going too deep into web-specific issues and constant optimizations, which would eventually break things if I keep updating one huge web app.

So just to be clear:
If you download the game, it will still be one version only, just internally split inside the game. There will be no impact on the story, it’s simply a structural change so the web version can work properly.

If you play on the web, you’ll see two pages available:

• One containing chapters 1–12

• Another containing chapters 13–19

Now for the promised surprise (which actually led me to investigate the web issue in the first place):

I’m going to release one big app containing all my games! 🤩

For those who like having everything in one place, now you’ll be able to do that! I’ll still keep the games available as separate builds, so you can choose whichever format you prefer. 😍

Tomorrow I’ll work on the Lending split, and I expect to have it ready by the end of the day.

And finally, one last thing for today:

Right now I have both stories ready to continue working on: Lending and Camping.

My original plan was to continue Lending, but I’ve received so many requests to continue Camping that I’d like you to decide which one I should focus on this month.

It’s a lot of work, but I’m still aiming to release several chapters this month, whether it's Lending or Camping.

Let me know what you prefer so I can start working on it as soon as I finish the web fix / one-big-app setup. 🤩

I know everyone shared their opinions in a very respectful and thoughtful way, and I truly appreciate that. ❤️

Based on what you said, it looks like I didn’t explain things very well before.
This update is a direct continuation of Lending, with new characters being added and new interactions that will connect with each other in the next chapters.

Everything is connected somehow…
…and if it doesn’t look connected yet, it will be later. 👀

That’s actually one of the main reasons why I want to release this now instead of waiting until all chapters are finished.
This is NOT a completely new loop of events like Neighbor —
this is a real continuation of where Lending stopped.

There are new events, of course, just like we had before with the Work arc, Food Class arc, and others.
This is the same idea, just with new elements being introduced.

About NTS / NTR, Lending was always a mix of both in some way.
But Emily is still… well… Emily. 😈
She is still cheating on MC, and still trying to hide it the best way she can.

Now, there’s something important in these chapters that I really want your opinion about.

After the revelations in Chapter 16 (the stuff under the bed), do you think the story should split into different timelines?

For example:

1️⃣ Emily knows that MC knows, but she plays along, saying he misunderstood everything or making excuses
2️⃣ MC pretends he didn’t see anything to her and keeps playing along

The option I chose: a mix of both — MC pretends, and Emily starts getting more careless / sloppy

Now I would like to know:

👉 Do you prefer this mixed approach?
👉 Or would you rather have a real branch split here?

Right now this release has only 3 chapters and is still work in progress.
After I read your feedback, if I only need small adjustments, I really hope to make around 10 chapters next month, because after this point the story becomes much easier to unfold. 🔥

An update already??
Yep!! I know I said I wanted to wait around 45 days, and that was the plan… but I decided to try something different this time. 👀

I’m experimenting with a new scenario for Lending, and I’d love for you to try this beta / work-in-progress version and tell me honestly what you think. I really need your feedback to know if we’re on the right track here. 💬

Here are some of the things I’m experimenting with:

✨ New characters (female and male)
✨ A new dynamic for Emily
✨ MC’s relationship with a new female character
✨ And probably the biggest change: SLOW BURN 🔥🐌

As suggested by Kevin, our Discord mod (Hey Kevin! 🤩), I decided to try a stronger slow burn approach this time.
Things will develop more gradually, characters will have more time to be introduced, and at the same time the old relationships will continue right where they left off.

This means:
👉 This is a direct continuation of Lending
👉 Forget about the Neighbor continuation for now

Even though this is a release, I’m treating it as a beta release, which means things can still change depending on your feedback.
And that’s exactly why I’m releasing it now:

It was actually finished 2 days ago, but I got so deep into the writing flow that I completely forgot to post the update. I was fully immersed in the story, and honestly… it felt amazing. Sorry about that! From now on, I’ll keep you updated every time I finish a chapter. 💪

And the best part… Chapter 18 is already going REALLY smoothly. 🔥
Working without the pressure of forcing monthly releases has been a game changer. I can focus on quality, emotions, and building the story the right way — and I’m really happy with how it’s evolving.

You probably won’t notice it immediately, but as the next chapters start rolling out, things will begin to connect in a very interesting way.

🗺️ Roadmap & Plan Going Forward

Alright, here’s what I have in mind — and I’d love to hear your thoughts after you read it, okay?

1️⃣ I will not abandon Lending Neighbor, but I do want to rewrite it. Howeve this won’t happen anytime soon.

2️⃣ I will remove the continuation of main Lending from Lending Neighbor.

3️⃣ The continuation of Lending, THE RESORT, will be the next major project I focus on.

4️⃣ I will keep alternating between Lending and Camping, until one of them is fully completed. That means: the project after Lending will be Camping.

5️⃣ I feel like I went too far with customization lately. From now on, I’ll keep customization more contained in current and future projects — with Camping being the maximum level of customization.

6️⃣ (Important!) — This might be the biggest announcement:
👉 I’m going to take more time with each release.

I’ve been trying to push out at least one big update every month, but honestly… that hasn’t been sustainable. You don’t really enjoy when the story feels rushed, and I end up overwhelmed trying to meet deadlines.

So, instead:
➡️ I’ll release more chapters per update (around 6, 7, or 8).
➡️ But I’ll take around 1.5 to 2 months per release.

I hope you’re okay with this. I truly believe this will lead to better, more thoughtful stories with more care and polish. ✨

We’re getting closer and closer to the release! Oligarchi is helping with proofreading (which is a LOT of work), and I’ll definitely ask Kevin for help with bug testing again. (Hi, Kevin! 👋)

All the images are ready, and I’m currently making sure that all possible routes are working — which is quite a lot!

And for the first time, this game will have "mods"! That means you’ll be able to download a modded version and play it. Since I can’t control what people will do with them, they won’t be posted here, but you can always check Discord for any different versions, if there are any. 😍
