what is even the point of posting a video if you have to hide its subject? how about just refraining from posting every single moment of your life to to your story, Danielle. it’s so performative and desperate and embarrassing.

Her feelings were valid. Her reaction—making someone else’s engagement party solely about herself and her lack of involvement—was not. Just because someone is upset doesn’t mean they have free rein to act like a raging asshole. And just because some of us judge someone for their actions, doesn’t mean we lack empathy. Your take is tired and nonsensical.
Carl included Danielle in the celebration of their engagement. He simply didn’t include her in the planning. For good reason.
I can understand Danielle’s feelings (to an extent), but I cannot understand her reaction. You say you imagine she wanted to say something she couldn’t on camera? What DIDN’T she say? She reacted like a toddler not getting their way. Her grievance was her sole focus the entire night. She made THEIR engagement party about herself. Full stop.
I would tend to agree with this take, except for the fact that Carl signaled to Danielle he was soon proposing to Lindsay, and Danielle’s reaction was to scream into a pillow and generally express anything but interest in helping plan it. If I were Carl I wouldn’t even want her at the engagement party. Danielle is completely aloof.

my dog was diagnosed with terminal cancer last summer and from the day I found out until the day he passed 3 months later, I spent every single moment with him. I intentionally didn’t go out of town, for work or for pleasure, because why would I leave him knowing he was unwell and my time with him was nearing its end? I would do anything for 5 more minutes with him so I really cannot relate to her at all.

Interesting! I never noticed this but my research confirms those are the original lyrics. A yellow hornet is similar to a bee but its sting is more dangerous. “Yellow bone” is slang for a light skinned Black person. It’s possible she changed the lyrics because people were constantly commenting on her skin shade in relation to her Blackness? I like both versions! 👑🐝

two wrongs don’t make a right, so I don’t really understand this argument whenever it bubbles up about DB. and to clarify, I don’t mean to imply silhouettes aren’t reused/copied every day in fashion. what bothers me is DB doesn’t even attempt to differentiate her brand’s “style” as something unique — her pieces are wannabe replicas of last season’s luxury brands’, except they’re made with non-biodegradable fabrics and will be discarded to live forever in a landfill after two wears. DB sucks for the environment and lacks a single original thought. let’s not give her any kudos for that.

if you do want confirmation, try checking to see what’s plugged into his bedroom outlets. if you don’t see anything there, it could be wireless. you can use your iPhone flashlight to search — the idea being, when you point light at a camera lens, it will reflect the light back to you.
no one is mad about her outfits. the outrage stems from her absurd photo editing, because she assumes her audience is either not observant enough or not smart enough to figure out they are being manipulated on a daily basis. she doesn't need to explicitly say so. posting the fraudulent content is an insult in and of itself. actions speak louder than words, after all.
she took her first meeting at 9am leisurely from her bathroom. she ended her day at 5pm even more leisurely, practically horizontal in a chair whilst eating. nothing about this vlog made me believe Danielle works hard. she films herself, bosses around her staff in that whiny ass voice, and then continues filming herself for the remainder of the day. doesn’t matter if it’s fashion week, the release of her latest “drop” (🥱), or she’s on a trip — it’s the same exact routine.
