I Replaced VS Code With Antigravity for 7 Days — Here’s What Happened
One week. No VS Code. Just Antigravity and a lot of questions?
For the last few years my workflow always started the same way. I open VS Code. Load the project. Add a few extensions. Then start building.
Like most developers I never really questioned it. VS Code simply works. It is fast. It is flexible. And the ecosystem around it is huge. Almost every tutorial and developer setup online starts with VS Code.
But recently I kept hearing about something called Antigravity. Not just from developers. Marketers and indie builders were also talking about it. The idea sounded different. It felt less like a coding tool and more like a new way to build software.
That made me curious. So I decided to try a simple experiment. I would stop using VS Code for one full week and replace it with Antigravity.
Seven days. No switching back.
Just a real test to see what actually happens when you change the main tool you rely on every day.
