photo shop wasn't something everyone was doing in 2011, i'd say it was still in it's early phases.

back then there were meme websites where people would just post funny images. stuff like that barely exists anymore.

they'd just post pictures of interesting furniture, without coupon codes or anything, just to entertain their fellow men.

i saw a funny african lady today. she was so pleasantly alive and animated in her speech and emotions. usually i don't like women for the same reason i don't like theater.

i can't tell you if this was just a concept picture or if someone actually bothered to manufacture this product but these days i'd love something like that with an e-ink display.

there finally are 60fps e-ink displays in 2026, i'd want one but the assholes who make them (company called Dasung) explicitly write not to put them in sunlight but that is all i would want it for. to type stuff in the sunlight.

recently this old german fart got a ~10 year old ebook reader with an e-ink display, which i intend to put custom firmware and custom free open source operating system on BUT I ALREADY LOVE IT! i never knew how nice it could be to use a computer in the sun! i just spend the time from 10-12 early in the day in the sun reading!!

there was tons of stupid products back then and they wouldn't give you cancer as hard as todays products and they were way less expensive because they weren't just a way for rich elites to extract money for you while giving you something bad and loveless in exchange, those products were reasonably priced and designed to be enjoyed. now it is just all slop and private equity.

check these custom metal dice! this was before 3d-printing so i guess someone actually made them, matallurgical metal crafting, maybe from coathanger wire i dunno.

back then it might have actually been fun to hang with a bunch of nerds and play role playing game, but in todays world i dunno. it would just amount to the inevitable and those bitches would want me to care for them and because secretly most people believe themselves to be retard and want you to be their caretaker.

i don't think this was a trend, this was just one of these websites that just lived to delight people found in their picture collection.

these early sites were amazing. no ai, barely any programs to help them organize, they just did it live.

trebuchet toaster. if i still believed in getting bread i'd probably want one but i don't have the space for vanity like that. i am a legitimate chicken in a coop and i hate the coop and about 150 people would are envious of my coop; that's how many people would want to live in my ridiculously tiny appartment.

dudemen you would not believe how hot the women were back then. just pictures of hot women everywhere, the entire internet was filled with female beauty and hotness. now all the women are so ugly and they all look the same. i have so many hot pictures from the old internet.
