Modern society is inherently unnatural and it is only rational to expect that people would respond to it in an unhealthy manner. There's nothing that can be done about that.
The good news is that modernity is also unsustainable. Global commerce operates under the assumption of continued growth and an ever-expanding resource pool; this is something that does not correlate to actual reality. It is impossible for industrial society to continue long-term.

While obviously you're focusing on AI slop specifically, it would also apply equally to cinema as an artform. When we watch these fictionalized portrayals of real life people and events, it tricks our mind on an instinctual level into believing that what we're witnessing is actually real. We form memories about events from movies as if they actually occurred within our life. The rational part of our brain knows it's fake, but the reptile part is incapable of this. This is also why pornography is so harmful.
