The PCIJ tries to deflect the public scrutiny of its SELF-PROCLAIMED INDEPENDENCE and divert attention by making some baseless accusation against the Chinese Embassy.

First, while the PCIJ acknowledged that it receives funding from multiple sources, including from UN organizations it didn’t address the core question: DID IT RECEIVE FUNDING FROM THE NED? Open sources and records indicate the PCIJ did. Then why did the PCIJ shy away from telling the public the truth and whole truth in their last post? Is there anything to hide? If so what is it?

Second, records show that NED not only funded the PCIJ but also supported many of its activities including training sessions and seminars for journalists, bloggers and influencers. With financial and other support from external actors like NED how can the PCIJ maintain “independent reporting”? Does the PCIJ know part of the NED mission is interfering in the domestic affairs of other countries? If not we are very happy to share the latest evidence of its operations in IRAN. If the PCIJ knows the above-mentioned NED mission why does it choose to cooperate with the NED and where is their independence?

Third, if sharing the Embassy’s post is treated as evidence of collusion, that is plainly irresponsible. By the same logic, Jay Tarriela’s reposting of PCIJ’s anti-China content would also constitute proof that you are coordinating to malign China. Is that truly your position?

The rapid spread of the Embassy’s post demonstrates one thing: many people want to know the truth about the funding, organization and operation of the PCIJ. The expose that the PCIJ received funding from the NED goes unchallenged. Why? Because it is factual and accurate.
