What an incredible way to celebrate International Women’s Day with Malka “Mollie” Horwitz who turns 110 years young. Malka is a living inspiration escaping Hitler and the Nazis during the Holocaust while saving her son. Malka then moved to Cuba ultimately fleeing the Castro regime and starting her new life in America. Last year I celebrated Malka’s magnificent life by awarding her with the Miami Beach resident of the year award at my State of the City. Malka and five generations of her family celebrated in grand style today in Miami Beach. Malka makes it abundantly clear the secret to her longevity and incredible life: “it’s G-d’s blessings.”
