Moria Luluka (森亜るるか)? is one of the four main Cures in Meitantei Pretty Cure!. However, despite being a Pretty Cure, she works for the Phantom Thieves' Guild.
Luluka transforms into Cure Arcana Shadow (キュアアルカナ・シャドウ)?.
Bio
Appearance
Luluka has dull blonde messy hair with multiple strands at the sides and two ahoges. Her bangs are full and her wide slit eyes are purple. Casually, she wears a black dress with a shawl featuring lighter strips and four buttons, a big white folded collar, a ruffly open layer on top of her skirt, frilly pale purple sleeves to match her petticoat, dull purple tights, and black crisscrossed Mary Janes. She accessorizes with a black ribbon on her head. Around her neck is a necklace with what appears to be the Tear Arcana Rod.
As Cure Arcana Shadow, her hair turns brighter and very long, down to the foot with a pastel pink ombre. Her ahoges grow in size with a braid at the back of her head. Her bangs thicken and her eyes turn red with lighter heart flecks in the corners. At the back of her head is a jet black rabbit-ear bow with gold trim and scalloped ends along with a long purple veil. She wears a headdress made of five jet black four-point stars, the middle one being smaller, accented by a purple droplet with darker trim to match the ones on her earrings that dangle beneath black ribbons. She wears a dark purple top with an upward point. The corset is split, jet black, trimmed in gold, and has a purple droplet and gold swirls. On her collarbone is a black ribbon and tie with gold trim and diamond, with a yellow layer beneath, resting on top of white scalloped fabric. On top is a purple heart brooch with swirly gold trim. On top is a jet black scalloped shawl that opens in the front with gold trim, dots, wing epaulettes, and pastel pink ruffly hems. Her wrist cuffs are pastel pink and frilly with gold bands and purple nail polish. Her skirt is wide, pastel pink, and scalloped with a ruffly layer on top followed by a jet black cape. It has two layers with gold scalloped and split trim respectively. The bottom cape layers have fuchsia droplets with gold trim and dangles below to accent the ones hanging on her skirt while at the back is a long purple ruffly cloth that gets lighter near the end and has a darker exterior. Her thigh-high stockings are light plum, split and scalloped with gold trim and diamond to match the lining around her jet black shoes.
Personality
Luluka is a mysterious girl who goes at her own pace, and can be a little airheaded. She doesn't talk much, instead relying on Mashutan to speak on her behalf. At first glance, Luluka can seem a bit spacey or dazed, but she actually has incredible deductive skills. She's the type who can look at something and instantly understand exactly what's going on. Luluka also really loves ice cream, and is always seen consuming a different flavor.
Relationships
- Mashutan: Luluka's fairy partner. They support and complete each other, with Mashutan doing most of the talking on Luluka's behalf.
Etymology
Cure Arcana Shadow:
Arcana could be a plural form of arcanum, meaning "a profound secret or mystery known only to initiates".[1], or it could also mean "either of the two types of tarot cards in a deck, the minor arcana and the major arcana."[2].
Shadow means "an area of darkness, caused by light being blocked by something".[3]
