• 1. Call for Entries

  December 11, 2025 8:00pm - January 1, 2026 11:59pm PST

• 2. First Round of Judging

  After the deadline for entries (after January 3, 2026)
  Capcom staff will review all of the designs we received, and select the 20 best designs that pass the first round of judging.

• 3. Second Round of Judging: Player Voting

  Voting Period

  January 30, 2026 - February 5, 11:59pm PST

  The 20 designs that passed the first round of judging will be revealed on this website.
  Fans can vote for their favorite designs, and the 6 best designs will be selected based on the number of votes they received.
  Voting will be conducted using your CAPCOM ID.
  Those who vote will receive free icons that can be used on social media, so please be sure to participate.

  - The number of votes will be calculated based on the total number of votes cast in the contest regions (Japan, Americas, Europe, and Asia).

  - CAPCOM ID membership registration (free of charge) is required to vote.

• 4. Announcement of Winning Entries

  Scheduled for March 6, 2026

  The announcement of the six designs selected for the Excellence Award after passing the second round of judging is scheduled to be made during “Capcom Spotlight,” which will be streamed starting at 2:00 PM on March 5, 2026 (PST).

  Note: After the above date, we will contact the winners individually via X (formerly Twitter), so please submit high-resolution data.

• 5. Announcement of the Best Entry

  The best entry will appear as a boss in the release version of Mega Man: Dual Override.
  The 6 finalists will also have their name appear in the credits of the game.
