Happy 106th Birthday to Olga today! Olga is the Mayor of Eagle for the Day and celebrated her birthday with children from Eagle Elementary singing to her, a ride in a car that is about as unique as she is and was popular in her teens (a 1929 Franklin Westrek Speedster, one of 5 known in existence), and having the Eagle Fire and Police Department honor her birthday as well. Olga was born in 1916 in a Norwegian community in North Dakota and spoke Norwegian until she went to kindergarten. She later became a school teacher for over 30 years.
