Nordic American Tankers (NAT) has sold one of its oldest vessels.

The Norwegian suezmax specialist said on Tuesday that it had sold a 2005-built ship for around $40m — a premium, according to valuation services.

Neither the ship nor the buyer was named, but the vessel fits the description of the 159,300-dwt Nordic Freedom and 159,100-dwt Nordic Skier (both built 2005).
