Two individuals whom Masood Masjoody had effectively and previously referred to, named Mehdi Ahmadzadeh Razavi Ghomi (48 years old, resident of Maple Ridge) and Arezoo Soltani (45 years old, resident of North Vancouver)—staunch supporters of Reza Pahlavi and, according to Masjoudi’s claim, linked to agents of the Islamic Republic—have been arrested and charged with the first-degree murder of Masood Masjoody.
Masjoody disappeared on February 2, 2026, just hours before a court hearing he had against Reza Pahlavi. His remains were found on March 6 in the "Mission" area by the Integrated Homicide Investigation Team (IHIT) after weeks of searching.
