NEW DELHI -- Cyberattacks continued to increase globally last year, with companies and government agencies facing 18% more attacks on average than the previous year and nearly 70% more than in 2023, according to a recent industry report that warned the Asia-Pacific region is especially vulnerable, particularly educational institutions in India and the computer hardware and semiconductor industries in Taiwan and China.
