This manual is helpful in that it lists many damaging and ecologically significant species which have not previously been publicly acknowledged as such. However, this manual is a far cry from comprehensive; most well-known and common invasive plants of the mid-atlantic region aren't included. That being said, this is a valuable resource for botanists who already know the typical invasive plant profile, and instead wish to read up on species which have gained recognition in 2015-2016.
