Matsumoto Risuki
Representative of Machino Nursery School and Kindergarten, Representative of JIREA, Representative Director of Machino Research Institute Co., Ltd.
Born in 1980, graduated from Hitotsubashi University Faculty of Commerce in 2003. After working at Hakuhodo and in corporate management, he founded Machi no Hoikuen Kotake Mukaihara in 2011. He currently operates Machi no Hoikuen and Kindergarten in six locations in Tokyo. He also serves as the representative of JIREA, a Japanese organization of the Reggio Emilia Approach that forms a learning network with countries around the world. He also has a sister company, Machi no Kenkyusho Co., Ltd. (a design consulting company for childcare, education, and urban development), and is attempting to co-create children's environments with various social actors, including local governments, companies, NPOs, artists, and scientists.
