Erika Wallace hoisted the NCAA Division II Women's Basketball Championship trophy 20 years ago as a student-athlete with Grand Valley State. Now, the current Wayne State (Michigan) athletics director and chair of the NCAA Division II Women's Basketball Committee is the one awarding the trophy to the Division II champion.
