Let me introduce you to this lady. Her name is Marceline Millner from Pierz, Minnesota.
In 1940, my grandma Evelyn Nieson was 16 and was too old to be in the orphanage in St. Cloud any longer. A nun there named Sister Corrine came from the Millner farm in Pierz and had a sister that suffered from Polio and needed a companion. So the Millner's welcomed my grandma into their home until 1947 when my grandma met and married my grandpa Meyer. Grandma and Marceline stayed friends all through the years even coming to visit us in Louisiana when I was a child. My grandma died in 2009.
Well today we found her and gave her a surprise visit.
She was born in 1918. She is 105 years old. 😃😲 Never married, never had any children.
She wanted to keep Isabella 🤣. We had such a good time visiting her.
