Our Story
Bright Nights Social, formerly Third Place Bar, was founded by Sam Bail — New York City's self-proclaimed Sober Party Girl — in late 2022. We create space for people to connect without the pressure to drink.
The name reflects the joy of spending a night out in community, fully present and connected — and a nod to our love of all things sparkly. ✦
Beyond events, Sam curates nightlife recommendations on her widely read Substack, speaks publicly about building more intentional social spaces, and teaches classes on alcohol-free mixology.
