With the discovery of Rivermark, we have a first glimpse at our ancestral civilization as it existed just before Highguard disappeared centuries ago. Here the landscape was transformed by rapid industrial advancements fused with old magic, producing engineering marvels unparalleled in modern day. This knowledge is now lost, but the structures it produced still stand, including the wonder of the peninsula: the colossal Barrier Wall.
