Chuck Miwa
So, my grandma turned 109 (not a typo) yesterday and got a surprise honor from the Gardena Police as well as the City of Los Angeles. After graduating from Cal, she raised my dad and uncles through really tough times into prosperity. Fingers crossed that her character and her genes pass down.
Community member- Yoshiko Miwa celebrated her 109th birthday today at the Gardena Buddhist Church.
