MXM module for P15

Hello, I was wondering whether it's a good idea to get P15 gen 1/2 for cheap with basic dGPU and further upgrade it with 2080/3080. Each gen's GPU seams to be fitting to their correspondent, so I want to get GPU from t15g and put in into p15, but would they boot or not? Have anyone did something similar?
