An update about the channel and what has been going on. When I came back from Japan last year, the channel got hit with 2 copyright strikes. If I had gotten a third one, the channel would have been gone forever. It scared the shit out of me to lose everything again. A little later, the channel was fully demonetized out of nowhere and I lost all motivation to keep going, not because I don’t like Lily anymore (quite the opposite), but it still made me really depressed. It felt so targeted, with every video getting either demonetized, random copyright claims, strikes, hateful comments because of that drama and more stuff. Every day I woke up wondering what bullsh*t I’d have to deal with next. After being demonetized, I lived off the few savings I had left after the Japan trip for a few months and Lily offered me a full time job. So that’s where we are now. I plan to upload again when I’m ready and it will be the same clips with the same editing I used to do, even if the channel isn’t monetized. Sorry for not updating earlier. Take care, - Pierre

That’s a really happy end! I thought something bad happened to you and checked the channel and the posts once in a while. Turns out, while YouTube is being a you-know-what again, you actually got even closer to the person you adore and a full-time job at that. Congrats, very happy for you!!!
2 copyright strikes would scare the hell out of me too. Knowing one more strike would be the end of your channel is extremely sobering, so I completely understand not wanting to upload anything. I'm glad Lily reached out to you with a job offer. That's awesome. I like your edits, so take all the time you need to get back into the swing of things. You got this.

The amount of other YouTubers, especially clippers, have been getting copyright strikes out of nowhere within the past few days and it's not fair at all. Some of the strikers are claimed to be AI or the system is AI. It's not fair at all especially for people who just want to show YouTube what our fish is up to. At this point we should plan another strike because this is getting ridiculous. I'm sorry your channel has been a target. On the plus side, you're working for Lily now! That's amazing! I'm so happy for you and that's a huge achievement especially for a fellow fish lover

dw man, you aren't the only youtuber that's been through this kind of bs. ive watched the journey of a channel with over 1.5mil subs lose their channel because of Youtube's garbage system you aren't alone

I can relate to that. When YouTube suddenly decides to demonetize your channel, it really takes the motivation out of your soul, leaving you wondering what you should do next. Should you continue? What if it gets hit again? Wishing you the best brother, hoping things turn around.😭

Based Lily as always. I may not always be a live viewer but early Lily clips where part of what showed me what vtubers even were way back when. Clip channels are super important regardless of the content. Ai scanners are ridiculously flawed anymore...

What in the fresh heck... I'm really sorry that you had to went through something like this Pierre. Your clips are what brought me to Lily at all, as I do not watch livestreams. Your clips are so incredibly funny and loveable to watch. I am so happy that Lily recognized that and went so far to offer you a fulltime job 🥰 thats the moma orca we all love! I really really hope with that your channel is safe from further copyright claims and you can feed us more hilarious and great content as before. We're here for you Pierre. You have alot of people that cares about you and supporting you, including Lily herself. Take your time, don't think about the negatives, focus on the positives, and most importantly: follow your heart. Don't let the negativity get to you. I know it can be challenging, but don't let that bother you. I know this feeling because I've been down this similar road your in( not on YouTube but personal matters). In the end, i had friends and family that were there to support me and care for me. Again don't let the negativity get to you because we have your back and will support you.

À en lire ton texte, je peux très bien comprendre à quel ça a du être éprouvant et je suis heureuse d'apprendre que Lily ait pus t'offrir un travail à temps plein.
