President Trump promised both America and the World that the United States would always pursue "peace through strength." Thanks to his bold and decisive leadership and the rock-solid partnership of our allies, Iran and the broader Middle East now have a historic chance for a new era of peace and prosperity. As we watch the limitless possibilities for peace unfold, I want to thank our closest ally, Japan and specifically Prime Minister Takaichi, for standing side by side with America always. We have supported each other in the cause of peace and prosperity across the Indo-Pacific and beyond for more than 80 years and we will continue to do so forever!
