The creators demise is of interest

This game needs an indepth analysis.. The nature of the death of the creator suggests there may be way more to it than meets the eye.

Alongside Deus Ex, i think Drowned God is also one of the most important games ever made.

This is a very good longplay. The last longplay I watched, while good, missed a LOT of the details you have put into this. Some vague details from my memory when I played this back in 1997: in the hacker's van on that old-school TV was a link (that comes up dead in your video) that actually connected to an embedded web browser that brought down some content from Inscape. I don't remember much what was on it other than a page mentioning Boris Yeltsin (leading Russia at the time) and the implant in his head.

I remember playing the demo on a Windows game sampler CD in the 90s.
Even though the Mayan temples would suggest that it takes place in Mexico, i have a suspicion that you´re actually on Mars.

Drowned god deserves an awesome remake and a well-made sequel
