Kai Trump Blasted For Bringing Secret Service To Erewhon And Bragging About Her $233 Lunch In Viral YouTube Vlog: “Join The Draft”

Kai Trump, President Trump’s granddaughter, is facing backlash for sharing a “tone deaf” vlog of her shopping at Erewhon and complaining about the prices.

The video, titled “I Brought My Secret Service to Erewhon,” shows the 18-year-old perusing the aisles of the high-end supermarket, which she describes in the video as “the most expensive grocery store pretty much out there,” adding, “Everything’s super expensive.” Kai complains several times about the prices of products while loading her basket with a haul of health supplements, sushi and more, totaling to about $233.

At one point in the vlog, she even notes to the cameraman, “I’m gonna go bankrupt with this stuff.” (Runs in the family!)

After “trying to stay calm” when an Erewhon employee informs her the store’s branded sweatshirt costs a whopping $165, Kai hops into her chauffeured car to go back to her hotel room to try her grocery haul, which include the viral $21 Hailey Bieber smoothie, a $14 bottle of water, a $13 jar of dates and more.

The video, which was shared to her 1.45 million YouTube subscribers on March 8, has garnered over 3,000 comments from critics calling her out for boasting about her shopping spree.

“Nice, I passed on ground beef at the store yesterday because it was $7.80 a pound. I didn’t bring my security detail either,” one commenter wrote.

Others called for Kai to enlist in the army, pointing to the rising tensions in the Middle East after her grandfather ordered a strike on Iran just last week.

“When are you going to enlist in Grandpa’s war of distraction?” one commenter wrote, while another also commented, “Join the draft. Send Barron,” referring to her cousin, the president’s 19-year-old son.

“Please join the draft for grandpa!” someone else wrote.

The controversial video comes just as White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt said Trump is keeping “his options on the table” when asked if a military draft could be possible in light of what’s going on in the Middle East, per People.

“Dude, we need to eat the rich fr,” another viewer commented.

The Erewhon vlog is just one of many luxe day-in-the-life-style vlogs the teenaged influencer has shared. Other previous installments include her first-class trip to the NBA All-Star game, spending Christmas the White House, and attending the Ryder Cup with the president.

Several commenters complained about the tone-deaf video, pointing out several Americans are currently “struggling” under her grandfather’s second term.

“Could you be more tone deaf? Making a video about going to the most expensive grocery store while everyday goods and gas are increasing in price? Read the damn room, assuming you know how to read. You deserve all the horrible comments you get!” one commenter wrote.
