A sad update, but also an update filled with gratitude and awe for a life well lived. So glad we got to celebrate her 108th birthday here last week. Her family read every comment that you posted.

In thinking about what images or video to share, I thought about one of my top 10 moments in Fair Haven, August 28, 2023. That night, Mrs. Blake made a triumphant return to the Fair Haven Fireman's Fair, almost 100 years after she first went to the Fair. This time, she was our guest of honor and enjoyed a fine seafood meal, with her characteristic grin and joy.
