My cousin Irene Fee turned 105.
These are two slightly different videos of her being interviewed for her birthday.
Irene was born in Linn County in 1918. She is the daughter of Kit Carson Williamson and Lulu May (Jenkins) Williamson. She is my dad's first cousin, so my first cousin once removed.
She married Clark Fee who was a jeweler in Eugene and elsewhere. Clark also co-owned and operated the Timber Topper buffet in the Big Y shopping center, in Eugene.
Irene's father ran horse drawn wagon transport along the coast from Newport to Waldport, before moving to the Willamette Valley, near Brownsville.
Irene lived at the Eugene Hotel for many years. In recent years, she moved to Missouri to be close to her son Richard.
