
Hans G. Goedicke, a renowned Egyptologist who had been chairman of the Johns Hopkins University’s department of Near Eastern studies, died of cancer Feb. 24 at Gilchrist Hospice Care in Towson.
The Tuscany-Canterbury resident was 88.
