• This is the worst day I've had in a long time. Seeing that headline is making me want to jump out a window.

This is the most clear cut "we are the victims and this person is in the wrong" situation possible (someone liking footage of a terrorist attack and celebrating it while the attack is still ongoing) and yet what's going to get plastered around the world? What are people going to see on their social media feeds? "Mamdani Defends Wife Amongst Criticism of her Support for the Palestinian Cause." Wow poor Mamdani's wife!! Brave Mamdani for sticking up for her against those nasty Jews who are attacking her just for caring about kids caught in a war zone! So brave.

I am going to throw up. This is a mass propaganda campaign like I've never seen, like I never expected to see in my lifetime, not coordinated by any one government or activist group, but motivated by a completely organic and grassroots impulse for hate and support of mass murder.

nazi york times whitewashes support for a genocidal massacre as it was ongoing.

Ironically, they are also accidentally admitting that the "palestinian cause" is the genocidal massacre of Israelis/Jews.

  • I can’t get around the paywall on the second link, and (sigh), yes, I know it’s annoying having The FP be one of the few outlets covering these things, but the headline speaks for itself in this instance - she’s an antisemite and a rape denier.

is this surprising? not particularly. is it fair to say that he supports mass murder because she does? yes, actually, because he’d already made it clear he supported this in 2023. does knowing that make it less alarming? no. does seeing the media whitewash and try to “contextualize” this speak to the depth with which antisemitism, and, indeed, horrific terrorism have been accepted and mainstreamed since 10/7? yes.

on a personal note, this was extremely triggering for me because the very first post I saw about the massacre here on tumblr was that photo of the fence being bulldozed when an ex-mutual reblogged it cheering and celebrating and talking about “collective liberation” and rooting for people to die as they were being killed. that was the moment when I realized something was atrociously wrong and that people I thought were friends were enjoying it. so yeah, I have a visceral reaction to that image being upheld as a great historical moment.

  • “WTF is going on” — the First Lady of the city with the most Jews in the world supports the murder, rape and kidnapping of Jews by a group deemed by the USA to be terrorist organization. You don’t think that’s newsworthy? https://t.co/bsrPx1e3BT — David M Friedman (@DavidM_Friedman) March 7, 2026ALT
Zohran’s wife “likes” mass murdering Jews but this was way back, like 2 years ago — Kyle Smith (@rkylesmith) March 7, 2026ALT

Zohran Mamdani claimed that his wife Rama Duwaji is “a private person” and deflected questions about her liking social media posts celebrating the massacres of October 7th. Your answer was a lie @NYCMayor . Wifey played a key role behind the scenes of your mayoral race, she… pic.twitter.com/lI49tkakUX — Leslie Young (@AkaLazarus) March 7, 2026ALT
Why are they SO determined to claim hamas did not rape anyone? They're ok with burning people alive, shooting them in the heads, throwing grenades into homes, but rape is just too much and is crossing the line? https://t.co/bxAi32FjME — Mish (@Mish_K_) March 7, 2026ALT
This is complete bullshit Zohran Mamdani is the Mayor of New York City, including for its roughly 1 million Jewish residents. Reports that his wife liked posts suggesting October 7 was a “mass rape hoax” and promoting “from the river to the sea” are deeply disturbing. ben rhodes does not realize he is part of the problem. celebrating the ritualistic mass murder of 1200 people is not ok. when democrat-adjacent folks/leftists/etc excuse this, they give people like Bari an opening to criticize our side. there will be more news stories, not fewer https://t.co/EaRrtnsQvD — Magdi Jacobs (@magi_jay) March 7, 2026ALT
If you're familiar with this corner of Twitter, you'll know that the post coming from zei_squirrel is 1,000 times more damning than the post's actual content https://t.co/btye1IUUpx — Park MacDougald (@hpmcd1) March 7, 2026ALT
WTF is going on @brhodes is that you have revealed yourself as a shameful October 7th apologist - the only appropriate response to this is is moral outrage and visceral disgust, you just don't "whatabout" 10/7 unless you must be a ok with this: https://t.co/AGAiBl9nge — Dr. Sara Yael Hirschhorn 🎗 (@SaraHirschhorn1) March 7, 2026ALT
