Okay I actually read this and holy shit, you met angeleno?
Have you seen what I look like?
Saw but don't remember anymore

you have froots real name?

casually meeting angeleno is crazy

June 3rd, 2025: Breakfast was some Rice Krispies cereal and milk. I made a pot of coffee and had some of it while playing with the cat’s primordial pouch more. My aunt woke up a bit later and she thanked me because she’d always make it but never had it made for her. I texted Angeleno:
>She said rock climbing would be from 8:00am to 11:00am today but we can arrive after 8:00am
I texted him the address and then he replied at 7:42am:
<Just woke up
Thing Alpha then decided to bring out her pet snake and gave him to me, the snake would wrap around me and then stick his head out so I would hold him up to whatever interested him, the computer, the potted plants, the window, the light switch, the whatever. He was super cuddly

I eventually opened this door to the outside and held him up to it to experience nature but he instantly coiled up around my arm under my shirt because the loud noises scared him. My aunt talked about this song where it said:
“Tie a yellow ribbon around the old oak tree.”
It was from World War 2 from what she told me. At 9:15am we got on the bus to the climbing gym and then hopped off to walk into the building, Thing Alpha got me in for free and I was told by the bearded employee named Jedediah. He had me sign this waiver and then watch an orientation video on bouldering (climbing without a rope) and this autobelay thing (climbing with a rope that doesn’t need another person) because you needed to get some certification in order to do the standard belay as a rope person) I did a live demonstration and got the hang of it pretty well, when the demonstration was done Angeleno came in and registered, I wiped down the video player with one of the two wipe dispensers they had and then watched the video and did the demonstration. Thing Alpha was exercising in the gym they had. I got up to a 5.8 in terms of difficulty and then went to do the bouldering thing. I fell a good amount of times, one time I accidentally fell on Angeleno but I wasn’t that badly injured so it was no big deal. We continued bouldering until Angeleno and I chilled out for a bit until I went up to Thing Alpha doing a wall squat while holding a 25 pound medicine ball, I joined her for a bit with the second heaviest medicine ball they had (20 pounds) and did the wall squat thing with her, she said she wasn’t going to do any climbing sadly but she was done with her exercise. We then got to the bus stop and said goodbye to Angeleno, we heard a lady complaining about the CTA cuts while waiting for the bus with us, we got on and I received a scam text from a +63 country code (The Philippines):

>Fuck off SEAmonkey
We then got back and I just ate some of the food laying around for lunch. Thing Alpha showed me the snake eating a dead mouse for food. We were supposed to go and get some sushi for dinner at 9:15pm and I was under the impression that we were going to be getting there at 5:15pm because Jared’s graduation ceremony couldn’t fit us at all. So it would just be me, my dad, and my grandpa. I took the train down at 4:15pm and just sat on it. They had these things at the window that blew out air so I put one of my arms on it to cool down. I got out and then walked over to my dad’s office. I had to get a picture taken for my temporary ID sticker and go up to his floor. I greeted my dad but was immediately given a lecture about giving more context in what I say and I wasn’t really happy. We walked over to Millennium Park to not only see the Bean and take pictures with it, but we played this super expensive thing of mini-golf (It costs like $25.00 for two of us to play) and my dad got a much better score than me, although I narrowed the score gap. We remarked on how the Jay Pritzker Pavilion had its grass off limits to everybody. My grandpa came in and we all complained about the city giving money to build new stadiums at the cost of higher sales tax and more inconvenience. My grandpa was clipping his nails on the ground and my dad got mad at him for saying:
“Ohh the janitor ladies will take care of it.”
He replied:
“We don’t say those things anymore.”
We then went down to the riverfront to take a walk along it before our time for our reservation was to happen, grandpa talked about how this fellow widower that he would go out with on Tuesday night to get dinner was moving out, even though there are more sellers than buyers in this housing market apparently (maybe don’t overcharge for everything) and also this story about these lesbian neighbors that they have (that only invited me over when I lived with him) that when they first met would constantly tell him:
“I’m a lesbian.”
To get a rise out of him because he was an old man, but after 7 times they stopped because he invited them to a pool party he was holding. We walked down to the Chicago Tribune building and even near Lake Shore Drive.

We were finally walking to where we were supposed to get dinner. My grandpa walked back to where he parked his car and I saw my dad browse BlueSky and Twitter. My grandma, aunt, cousins, and even their uncle finally arrived and we went in while waiting a long time for my grandpa because he wasn’t back. The cousins and I went over to 7/11 to get slushees and I got the grape one which tasted pina colada flavored. When we got in we ordered our sushi and drinks but for my drink, I got hot saki and the cute waitress allowed me to choose this shot bowl. The cousin’s uncle looked kind of homeless from when I last saw him and he was moving to South Carolina. I even allowed some others to sample the Sake, Thing Alpha, Thing Beta, Jared, Jane, and my grandpa included, it was hot but it lost its heat after a while. We got the sushi in one of those fake boats and loved it so much. Grandpa invited all of his grandchildren and even the Things’s boyfriends to a 4th of July pool party. We ate most of the sushi and the time for the bill came around and my cousin’s dad tipped a $20 bill, I decided to try and give the tip instead with a $20 of my own, he appreciated my offer but my dad then thought it would be an amazing idea to criticize me for getting money to take relatives out to dinner (a few times they refused my offer to pay.) We then waited for the car outside and got approached by 5 different people asking for money or food. The last guy was wearing a cross necklace and actually accepted the sushi that we gave him. He was friendly with me because of my Pentecost necklace. We got in and then took the car home but it was super late at that point, like 11:40pm and the driving around to find a parking spot was infuriating so we were just let off and I went inside and took a shower, then went to sleep.

June 4th, 2025: Back home today. I woke up at 5:52am despite wanting to wake up later at a more normal time. I had some cereal for breakfast and brewed a pot of coffee for everybody in the place. My grandpa said to me:
“Good morning!”
So I replied to him:
“Good morning!”
Thing Alpha did the same. My aunt thanked me for making a pot of coffee again and I even saw the cat for one last time so I had to play with his primordial pouch for one last time in quite a while.

My grandpa first left and I said goodbye to him. I then got all my stuff packed up and said goodbye to Thing Alpha, Thing Beta, Jared, and my aunt before walking over to the train and hopping on it. I wrote my blog entry until I got there an hour before my train was supposed to head out (1:05pm) so I walked up and down South Canal Street to fill out stuff for SuperLocalMaps. I then went into Union Station and bought a pretzel and strawberry lemonade for $17.29 at 12:26pm at Auntie Anne's. The line for some of the others was too long and I ate it next to this Amish family. I eventually tried to go to the bathroom but all of the stalls were occupied and this one crazy guy was in one of them. I got into line after a bit of a wait and then boarded, we got our tickets checked before our first stop. I did mine and then I listened to some music along the ride back. I got off and then walked over to my bus stop with my bag in tow. I saw this one Black girl wearing a fuck tone of makeup that made her look extremely uncanny, the makeup kind of freaked me out. I got on the bus and took it back to my new apartment, when I got there, I grabbed the long cardboard package that was outside and took it in. I opened it up and got to work on assembling my bed frame. I had to unfold the outside parts and then screw the short parts in before pushing the small crossbars into place. I got that done and posted it in the family groupchat. On her Snapchat story, Macie had posted this video of her talking in her room about something I forgot but there were these hats in the top right corner and I stupidly commented on them saying:
>Nice hats!
I ended up getting a reply later saying:
<Thanks dude
I could absolutely smell the resentment coming from her so I just decided to go into nonchalant mode:
>yw
She just left me on read so I just avoided the embarrassment and deleted all the chats I sent her. I then I got dressed for Wednesday night dinners. I got dressed in a suit without a tie and then took the bus over. I got into the dinner place and I saw this deacon sitting in a chair and he guided us through the liturgy of the hours for the first time with the deacon, the missionary, and a third person. Father Malachi wasn’t there but I went out to grab the food from the guy who had brought it to us and the missionary talked about evangelizing at this local LGBTQ+ event that everybody thought was brave, he didn’t have any injuries so far. Just before mass started, I walked outside and saw two Capuchin monks, one older and one younger, so I greeted them. We then went into the chapel for the Eucharistic Adoration and I sat there for the whole time. Putting my phone off to the side to prevent distractions worked well until I realized that I didn’t have my wallet. I sat behind the architecture girl and a few rows over and back I noticed Sideburns and his cousin were there but Sideburns had shaved his sideburns. I went to the bathroom and got waved to by Mahdi and waved to Naomi and she returned the greetings, guess I didn’t scare her off after all. I forgot what the sermon was about but there was no shaking of the hands for the sign of peace which I missed from last week, but we eventually went out for the socialization event. I got roped into talking to one of the missionary’s friends for quite a while about his upcoming birthday party. Also Sideburns immediately left because “He had a sleep schedule” according to his cousin, I ended up talking to the architecture girl and get introduced to her friends but she did say:
“Well it’s nice seeing you!”
AKA pulling the trick on me. I tried to talk to Ava but she was busy with someone else so I just left. I went down to the grocery store but just realized it was worthless without my wallet so I just took the bus home. I got back and then took a shower and drank a shot of limoncello before finding my wallet in my pair of pants that I had worn earlier. I then took a shower and finally went to sleep in my newly elevated bed.

June 5th, 2025: Woke up at 5:45am due to the sun light and finished off the cereal that James left over. I went to this convenience store to get some more milk and coffee creamer but they only had 1% milk. I walked back home and had that. I was behind on all of my biblejaks so I worked on completing the ones for June 2nd and June 3rd before work. What genuinely surprised me was the fact that for the June 3rd one for the alternate option EWTN sometimes gives, they had 2nd Maccabees as the first reading. It has to be one of my favorite books of the Bible, but it makes me sad that the original 5 volume work by Jason of Cyrene was lost to time. I I decided to walk to work again. I took a scenic route through the forest and across the river and loved it. I got into work on time and then clocked in. My first task was stocking the sauces and doing the frozen aisle. Will didn’t choose these for me but Jesse did was pointing contests with fAsherah a bit more before getting some ravioli for lunch. I got a snap back from Macie with an image of her room with a huge Funko pop wall. So we had this conversation:
>Funko pop wall.
>😭😭😭😭
>😭😭😭😭

<Oh yeah
>😭😭😭😭
<I have a lot
>😭😭😭😭😭
>Why?

<Collected them in middle and high school
<They are all Disney themed

>Ok how many of them aren’t Disney themed.
<With the exception of a few
>You seem like a Predditor [sent in a snap she saved in chat]
>I don’t have any but I’m still unpacking my new place.
<Lol
<Im not a hard core collector
<I just get Disney ones that I stumble upon and like
<A lot of them were gofts
<*Gifts

>Gifts?
<Yes
<From family

>Why is your family like this?
<Like what
>Buying Funko Pops.
<Cause I collect them
<Duh

>Why did you start collecting them.
<Idk
During my lunch break, I was sitting at this table and I was wearing my green Boy Scout pants and Tiffany’s manager told me that she named her car after me because my pants are green and her car is green, but if it is like my dad’s old Volkswagen, it’s going to be actually blue. After my lunch break, I started on cleaning the windows and outside Tiffany was helping me, she started from one end and I started from the opposite one and she completed more than me due to her starting first. I then went inside to wipe more windows and then outside to sweep until Biker came out and told me:
“Tiffany wants to see you inside.”
I opened the door and saw what looked like Tiffany crying while surrounded by Max, John, Will, and this other employee. I thought I was in so much trouble but she said:
“I don’t think that Gemerson would know how to do it either.”
It turns out it was just related to some issue she had with window washing. I figured out how to remove some of the obstacles in front of the window but could not get them all the way dealt with. I continued with my tasks until I had my next break. When I got off of that break, I saw Biker, his girlfriend, and four young children, two boys and two girls, that looked like they were his kids. I continued doing the shelf work and at one point I went down the stairs and nearly got my head slammed by the door because Tiffany was opening it from the other end, she remarked:
“Multiple people have died like that Gemerson!”
I couldn’t care less. I got a fistbump from Ignacio today. I had exhausted all of my tasks on my task list for today so Will decided to give me the tasks from this other employee that had a bad habit of never showing up to work yet somehow keeping his job, I was tasked with putting 12 cases of meatballs into boxes while I watched this video by Redeemed Zoomer on all the debatably heretical Christian Denominations (7th Day Adventists, Shakers, Quakers, Churches of Christ, Swedenborgians, Assemblies of God, yadda yadda yadda) and then a second video by Trent Horn AKA Council of Trent on why the Deuterocanon is valid and some early Church Fathers that Protestants use as evidence are not that supportive of their position as they seem. I got some ice cream for my second break and then worked on closing. Matt and I said hi to each other while I was working on the floors. I didn’t have the closing tasks of two people today. When I was working on my closing tasks outside I noticed Old Ozzy Osborne and also the scrunched faced old woman outside, but not talking to each other. I said goodbye to Sabrina before taking the bus to the grocery store. I got there and bought some ice cream sandwiches, a gallon of 2% milk, a bag of Reese's puffs cereal, and also a bag of mixed peas and carrot cubes to add to a ramen dinner. I took the bus back home and then put the mixed peas and carrot cubes bag into the freezer just to find out that James the Greater had already left a bag of the exact same brand in the freezer. I bought it for nothing. I cooked up the ramen with a single egg and the veggie mix and then poured it into the bowl, I added a packet of shitoko (chopped up garlic) that I had lying around from Enosh to the bowl of ramen and there was a lot of it in it, still tasted good. I had two mint chocolate chip ice cream sandwiches and then worked on my June 4th and June 5th entries before publishing them all at once. I then took a shower and went to sleep. Also The Nintendo Switch 2 released today, but I remembered Nintendo Land and I am still sad they haven’t re-released it yet. I loved the Metroid game they had.
