Historical context: Back in the early half of the 20th century the US had color coded war plans in case one were to break out In these war plans the US was always blue Japan was red, Mexico was green, Iceland was indigo, China was yellow, Latin America(represented by Brazil) was violet, and the UK was red. There were many other nations to have their own color but I chose these 7 specifically because they fit with the contest criteria perfectly

Looks like it was a plan for the US to occupy Iceland, if that ever became necessary (which it eventually did, in WWII.)
