Pokémon Rumble is such an underrated gem of a game

22

I know some didn't like it, but I never got to play it for years and always thought it looked fun.

Years later, the mobile game came out (Pokémon Rumble Rush) and I loved it. I played it every day and it was really enjoyable and entertaining... then they suddenly got super greedy and changed how the game progression and stat-improvement works. Pretty much immediately, the player base started falling off and the game died. I've seen this happen to several fun mobile games and it's incredibly frustrating.

Point is, I'll be glad to play the original game to see where the concept came from. So yeah, definitely one of the Wii games I'm most looking forward to.

101 games on launch is wild and so many good ones and different genres here.

Hours of fun to be had

17

This includes subsets, so not quite at 100 games yet. But really close

I think we can safely say Xenoblade won't make the cut at launch. Can't blame the devs, it's one heck of a huge game. It's also my #1 most anticipated release for the system. At least we have Brawl and many other gems to tide us over until it's done. I'm also waiting for The Last Story.

12

Honestly there is already over 150 unnoficial achievements so hopes arent all that low

Will these work on Android on day 1 or will it be like the GameCube launch where we have to wait for months before they are available?

6

Should be available day 1, as it's the same emulator. Android Dolphin was just slow to add RA Integration.

Breaches happen. Damage is optional.

Veo que Wii va a tener una grata bienvenida!

3

No new super mario bros wii yet 😔

3

There's currently 40 unpublished achievements including the full progression line and the author has been playing (I.e. developing for) the game frequently according to RA's play tracker, I'm guessing it'll be ready by March 19

19th March confirmed! That's so exciting, it's come really quick

2

day 1 pokemon rumble letsgoooooo

2

I can't wait for this support to drop.

There are so many Wii games I never got around to playing even though I know I would have liked them at the time. Wii is probably the only console I ever dropped within a year because it was a baby console for babies according to my teenage brain.

Glad to see the initial rollout is going to have so many games, even weirder and obscure ones.

2

Just an absolute heater of a lineup. Thank you so much, devs!

How many beats/masteries do you think we'll need for the launch event? I'm thinking 40/20 or 50/25 but I hope they make this a tiered event like AotW and offer a lower tier for those looking to play a bit less

2

GameCube was 10 points bronze, 20 for silver, 30 for gold. A beat was 1 point, mastery 2 points, and some games counted for 2x or 3x. Hacks were 1/2 the points. I would expect WiiWare to be 1/2 points as well

3

Ahh GameCube had tiers? I didn't know that! I think I saw the PS2 event didn't and just assumed.

That's great to hear, I'm looking forward to the Wii launch even more now

Metal 3D Printing Service – Fast,Precise,Affordable.

I'm a little confused. On what emulator will this be coming onto. Will Dolphin be getting an update to work with this?

2

It already works on dolphin if you turn on unnoficial achievements.

But yeah keep Dolphin updated

I’m so hyped for pokemon rumble

MADAGASCAR KARTZ PUH LEEZE

0

The amount of achievements sets for this rollout is crazy. I already have a list going of Wii peripherals to request for Father’s Day.

1

Hope they make a big set for Little King's Story, that game is seriously under rated

1

I’m excited for fortune street

1

I'm hoping the TellTale games get sets. Been looking for a good excuse to play Strong Bad's Cool Game for Attractive People again.

1

Waiting on New Super Mario Bros Wii...

Anything relating to wii Sports or Resort?

1

Resort wont happen bc the memory is untrackable with our toolkit. Wii sports is being worked on
