Mario heard the Princess's cry for help, and with out a second thought, he ran to the door, and shoved it open. Just in time to see Princess Toadstool being carried off into the distance. He quickly heads out to Bowser's keep, and crosses the Thick concrete bridge. Almost immedately after entering the keep, he gets attacked by a Terrapin, who throws a punch at Mario. Mario counter attacks by punching him harder, and ends up knocking him out. But as soon as that battle ends, more begin. Eventually, his arms get tired, so he decides to jump on them instead. Slowly but surely, Mario makes his way through the hall, and into the next room. It's a wooden bridge above boiling lava. As Mario starts to walk across this bridge, a fireball pops out."What idiot thought it'd be a good idea to have a wooden bridge over lava!?" Mario shouted, but then he quickly realized who he was dealing with. "Oh....right...." As soon as he crosses the bridge, it almost instantly collapses behing him. "Waah! Oh man.....Uuuuuuhhhh.....one pasta too many?" He jokes, knowing vary well that it was probably already weak due to the WOODEN bridge being above LAVA, the heat weakening it every minute. Knowing that our hero cannot turn back now, he walks in the door to Bowser's throne room. Mario walks into the center of the room, and looks around for a bit. He sees nothing, expecting Bowser to pop out at any given moment to attack him. Then a drop of water hits his nose.....no, not water, a tear! Mario looks up to see the Princess chained to the ceiling. (Betch'ya he's got a great view eh?*gets hit* Ow ow! ok, I ain't no pervert!)
"Mario up here!"
Bwahaha!" Taunts Bowser from the chandelier. Mario is quick to react. He jumps on the other chandelier, catching Bowser by suprise. "Hey! YOU WEREN'T SUPPOSED TO GET UP HERE!!!"
"Bowser! Give the Princess back!"
"Don't let Bowser bruise you, Mario!" Toadstool cried down to Mario.
"Mario! Prepare yourself for the great beyond!"
"Oh yeah? You're going down Bowser!" Bowser starts off by scratching Mario, and Mario tries punching Bowser back, but his shell was too hard. "Bwahahah! How do you like my new Kooptacular Shell!?" Toadstool watching them in horror notices something about the chandeleir. Bowser knocks Mario down. At this point Mario looks beaten up, holding his stomache where Bowser just scratched him.
"Mario! The chain! Aim for the chain!" Toadstool calls out. Mario looks at the chain holding up the chandelier and notices that the chain is all rusted and weak. Mario jumps off Bowser's head, and punches the chain holding the chandelier, which eminates an odd sound. Bowser looks around for a second.
"What was that sound?" He finds out when he turns around to see the chain breaking apart. "N...n...NO!!!" He tries to stop the chain from breaking, but it's too late. "It's a chain reaction!! Hang on Kinklink!!" The chain breaks completely, sending Bowser down "Eyaaaaa!!" he wimpered.
"Told you you were going down!" Toadstool laughed at that comment, but there victory is short lived.
"Coming, Mario?" Teases Bowser as he throws a hammer at Mario's chain.
"Oh no!"
"Fight, Mario! FIGHT!!!" Luckily, the chain didn't give away, but because the chandelier was shaking around so much, Mario lost his balance, sending our hero stumbeling backwards off the chandelier. But he grabbed on to the edge, and was able to pull himself up.
"Whew!" Sighed Mario.
"This should FINISH you!" Bowser threw another hammer, causing the chain to finally break, and Mario to fall.....and fall.....AND FALL!!!
"How did I even get up that high? There's no way ANYONE could jump that high up!" Asked Mario, who seriously had a point.
"I had the chains retract when you got on. For plot convienence!" Clearifyed Bowser, who wouldn't need to claerify if Miamoto had any logic to his games. "Mwahaha! Did you think I was gonna GIVE her to ya? You're ALWAYS in my way! This is IT! I'm gonna take you out, Mario!" Bowser attempts to deliver the final blow to Mario, but he jumps on Bowser's head to dodge, knocking him over.
"You're not my TYPE!" Taunts Mario.
"Fungah! Foiled again!" Curses Bowser.
Mario had managed to bounce all the way back up to the Princess. He grabbed the chain where Bowser was earlier, and climbed up the chain to rescue the Princess.
"Oh, Mario! You had me so worried! Let's get out of here!" The whole castle began to shake violently. "Mario!!!" Toadstool shrieked."I'm going to fall!" At that moment, something tremendous was happening. Something they couldn't comprehend at that time. A giant sword had crashed through something that appeared to be made of stars, ripping it apart, and scattering pieces all around the world. Left, right, up, down! Stars went everywhere, and the sword stabbbed Bowser's keep, sending our hero flying.
