Parallel doing things. Call the person and just say out loud what you’re doing sometimes. Silences also dont feel so heavy when you both are focused on things beyond the call.2. Video call. As much as possible seeing one another allows for that same sense of doing things around each other. You can sit in silence both doing stuff while on a video call where you can occasionally see each other and comment on space the other is in.3. DO things together. Playing video games, play online party games. Do one of those collaborative drawing sites.
