Two sides of the same Coyne: The MJ-12 "Double Agent" in President Kennedy's inner circle

J. Patrick Coyne was a trusted advisor to President John F. Kennedy - but his allegiance to Allen Dulles and the MJ-12 group went back decades.

One other Majestic Documents confirmation file discovered by MJ12 Logic last week relates to a specific CIA report number regarding UFOs. It is from the cover page of the Majestic Twelve Project 1st Annual Report, from September 1948. This document was supplied to Timothy Cooper by source Thomas “Cy” Cantwheel on November 19, 1994:

https://majesticdocuments.com/pdf/mj12_annualreportcover.pdf

The “SI” is short for “Special Intelligence”.

This number occurs again in a memo from the former Manhattan Project and ALSOS Mission lead scientist, Dr. Samuel A. Goudsmit, from 1957, which was declassified on April 2, 2001. It has two redactions which appear to refer to something specifically related to UFOs. Interestingly, the ALSOS mission went into Italy and Germany at the tail end of the war looking for atomic secrets, in competition with General Donovan’s OSS team (which reported directly to the Joint Chiefs of Staff). Were ALSOS and Goudsmit also looking for Magenta crash components and scientists? ALSOS member CAPT. Reginald Augustine appeared in the mysterious “Bigot List” declassified in the 2025 JFK Assassination files, which I wrote about here.

As we know, a young Jack Kennedy accompanied the Secretary of the Navy, James Forrestal, to Berlin in May 1945 in search of Nazi “miracle weapons”.

Someone has helpfully written on a sticky note the original file number this three-page document was pulled from and added some context - CIA/Special Intelligence file 28-55, with the word “UFO’s” underneath. The helpful archivist has even left the sticky note on the file when it was scanned for the release. Nice.

Astute observers would also note the 25x1A classification marking means the final redaction regarding to whom Dr. Goudsmit was writing to can be removed next month.

“Special Intelligence” and J. Patrick Coyne

In 1961, J. Patrick Coyne was National Security Council Advisor for Internal Security, regarding United States intelligence activities and operations, including domestic intelligence programs and internal security committees in the Kennedy Administration. He was also selected for similar roles in the Truman and Eisenhower administrations. In March 1954, a “Voting Sheet” was sent by the CIA member to the United States Communications Intelligence Board (USCIB) in order to determine if Coyne should be briefed into the “Special Intelligence” (i.e., UFO) compartment, along with his personal assistant. At the time, only a handful of people had access to this type of intelligence.

Coyne was also Special Assistant to Robert Cutler, National Security Advisor to President Eisenhower in 1954. The infamous Cutler-Twining memo of July 14, 1954, delivered to General Twining whilst Cutler was out of the country, was most likely handled by Pat Coyne.

The “Bromance” between Coyne and Allen Dulles is evident in a letter from February 28, 1955:

June 28, 1961

At 11:00 AM, on June 28, 1961, Coyne felt an urgent need to meet with DCI Allen Dulles - as page 65 of the calendar entry declassified in 2022 clearly shows:

https://www.archives.gov/files/research/jfk/releases/104-10306-10025.pdf

This was despite the fact that Coyne knew he would be meeting with Dulles later that day in the “Off The Record” 3:30 PM appointment with President Kennedy:

WHY?

I believe Coyne met with Dulles in order to warn him that President Kennedy was going to ask him what the MJ-12 project was about:

https://majesticdocuments.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/08/kennedy_ciadirector_1.pdf

Coyne’s loyalty to the MJ-12 Group was higher than his loyalty to President Kennedy. The MJ-12 Group wanted Kennedy gone.

Anyway, we have less than a month to go until we find out who Goudsmit was talking to about UFOs!

Has the MAJESTIC JEHOVAH reverse engineering “Bigot List” just been declassified?
An odd, single page document in the 2025 JFK Assassination Files release may be the key to President Kennedy's murder.
