Kylan deGhetaldi is a pianist, singer and composer specializing in ragtime and other early jazz genres. Born and raised in Santa Cruz, Kylan was drawn to the music of Scott Joplin and other ragtime composers from an early age. After starting one of the first Youtube channels featuring ragtime and "stride" piano, Kylan soon began performing on the trad jazz circuit, and eventually he founded and directed his own ragtime festival in Santa Cruz in 2016/17. Kylan is also a touring member of the international sensation Postmodern Jukebox, with whom he has performed in over 50 cities on 4 continents. Kylan spends much of his time with his beautiful 7-year-old daughter, as well as defending his position as a top-ranked Scrabble player.
