Deterrmination + MTTs + HVAPs.

What I like to do is to use HVAPs on multi-turret tanks with Determination. Our resident catgirl gives big tanks much needed mobility (which allows me to pick other upgrades) and I find it both hilarious and effective to unload 2+ Kugelblitz turrets into anything within range while drifting in a giant metal box...

But I actually prefer low mag turrets (so avoiding to pick MGs as much as possible) with One Last Shot/Goodbye or whatever it's called.

1) Low mag and very quick reload turrets drain their ammo fast triggering the bonus for the last shot.
2) Very quick reload means you just keep firing.
3) And finally Determination makes it more likely to fire extra shots triggering the first point more often.

4) Also the extra shot bonus from Determination seems to consume (and fire) double the ammo per salvo not individual shot. So for example on Lvkv it results in consuming 4 shots per salvo instead of 2... (so dishing our double the damage while also consuming the ammo twice as fast triggering the One Last Shot even more often - I am not sure if One Last Shot also doesn't apply to the entire salvo... that would be hilarious...)

What's funny is this is really the opposite of how I was playing when I bought the game. I used to go for medium or heavy tanks and focus on improving a single turret while picking as many crew upgrades as possible (Panzer Ace or Bigger is Better). Now I play mostly MTTs with 2+ turrets as upgraded as possible with Determination while picking only selected crew upgrades.

What are your favorite builds and are they what you expected or did you surprise yourself like I did?

Also excellent job on the last added character. I basically abandoned using allies for higher difficulty missions until she showed up. I still don't go for that often but now it seems a bit more viable at least.

Tried the O-I with an all-HE turret build by the last few battles with the reload/HE buff build. Hilariously overpowered, it just turns into a mobile artillery barrage and the final boss melted, as did his buddies trying to shield him.

To be more practical, I usually go with the "The Bigger, The Better" strategy and use this crew setup:

Sophia – all 6 perks
Sunday – Stop Thinking (only pick this after unlocking Sophia’s Assistant)
Yulia – Adrenaline Rush, Killing Spree
Zina – It Just Works (optional)

For turrets, I pick as many HE options as possible to maximize damage.

This is a late-game build that works best with SPGs and HE turrets, but it’s still effective on other tanks and turret types.

It’s super satisfying to slap an Object 103 turret (with ~41+ damage) on a low-tier vehicle.
And I was able to one-shot a KV-6 with a side hit and crit while using 26-pen capped & ballistic capped shells. Not entirely sure if that was just enough to pen, but it did the job.
