For the next 20 days; until March 10th, you’ve “caught up” with your already 108 year old husband of soon 84 years, our magnificent uncle Lyle E Gittens; WWII European combat veteran!

It was wonderful speaking you both this evening—- it was hilarious to hear uncle Lyle say you’re finally his “old lady”…. Such sense of humor at 108 years old.

Again congratulation on your achievement of becoming the world’s oldest living married couple and oldest living members of yours Delta Sigma Theta Sorority and Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity; Clark-Atlanta University.

You both have been a beacon in my life since birth when my first baby bed was a dresser drawer in your bedroom in New York City! I’m so grateful!

Gabriele and I enjoyed our time together during recent visits, our phone conversation and are looking forward to seeing you both again soon.
