listen I’m 99.98% sure it won’t happen, but I think Chihiro should crash out a little bit trying to reforge Enten. The super difficult highly technical thing he hasn’t done in three years. Also he’s kinda had a really bad month

as a society i think we need to talk more about how close and comfortable hakuhiro get with each other immediately upon meeting. the way they skip referring to each other with honorifics or last names all together and chihiro opens up to him within like 20 minutes is actually insane. there are so many sides of chihiro that we see hakuri bring out it’s really beautiful to witness, they both needed each other in their lives so bad.

hc that people just assume Natsume doesn’t speak Japanese as a first language when they meet him but then they actually have a conversation with him and he talks like a weird mix of city dialect + ancient prose that’s genuinely baffling. Like why is does foreign-looking high schooler talk like he’s from the Heian era.

To anyone who wrote a natsume's book of friends x Wind Breaker crossover, know that I will never forgive you for the tears I have shed over another traumatized child who finally found a place where he is loved

the chapter 38 cover page for the JP version has text on it that reads: 阿吽の呼吸/"Aun no Kokyuu", which is translated as "Two people dancing to the same beat, mowing down enemies" (source)

This indicates that Chihiro and Hakuri have become so in sync with each other while they take down their enemies that they're basically one

but that text is removed in the ENG version, not even translated
