If you were laughing at his fuck ups, or were amused by his drama, I could understand. Most people love to rubber neck a train wreck.

But this is the type of guy, where if he annoys you, you can just block his youtube channel and twitter feed and you will hardly know he exists. He won't even hunt you down unless you are a lolcow his people are doing a story on.

bias starts with platforming decisions, topic selection, agenda setting, framing, etc.

consider two possible partisan approaches to this:

#1: hey mister sloptuber it appears some groupie is trash talking you, would you like to come on my podcast and explain in detail to my audience how it's all lies and slander by a jealous ex?

versus

#2: hey miss groupie it appears you have exposed some sloptuber, would you like to come on my podcast and explain in detail to my audience how he is an abusive sex pest with a limp dick?

you did #2 so people see you as sweeping for the accuser.
if you had done #1, people would see you as sweeping for tom.

to avoid these accusations of bias and sweeping, you would have to not get personally involved, and cover the situation from a detached outside observers perspective instead.
