Literally just google "steam hardware survey"
You can also easily see that the percentage of chinese pcs in this sample more than doubled and that's why all of the metrics shifted.

You must have horrible standards. A standard manga double page is B5 format (257mm x 182mm) and has a resolution of 2700x1920. You are squeezing it on a device with 122 mm x 91mm and a resolution of 1448 x 1072.
>>
>>108295550
I don't think he's reading manga in double page mode on such a small screen, anon. even on my Sage (7.8") I read them in single page portrait, double pages are only comfortable to read on a 10" or bigger screen
>>
>>108294920
You don't provide any actual reasons why larger screens are bad and that's where the biggest advances have happened. There never was a $499 Kobo to begin with, the most expensive was the Elipsa at $399 and was never the best option on the market. If people want to read pdf, manga or take notes they should get a recent big model with 300ppi, potentially even with color.
>>
>>108295640
Then it's not as "fantastic" as he claims if he has cripple his reading experience that much.
People looking to buy a device for manga shouldn't compromise that badly when a 10" reader only costs three times as much as a 6".
>>
>>108264707 (OP)
I never use it a tablet was so much better

I already stare at screens all day the ereader was just too awkward a device. And way too small.

Better deals.
As far as I remember (never used it myself), when enough people backed a product, it would be ordered in bulk from the manufacturer and passed straight on to the users, no need to pay intermediate stores/warehouses to keep a bunch in stock.

Data hoarding is a like a bank rush, people only do it because they're afraid the place hosting the files won't be there much longer. Its partially self fulfilling, but is usually also the only winning move for any person who may want those files in the future.
>>
>>108295648
Why would you host a website?
>>
The hoarders are right. I haven't contributed to myrient's current hammering but I can assure you that's only because I obtained the sets I wanted years ago already from GGn, Ugg (RIP), Blackcats (RIP) and other sources that distribute large files the way they are supposed to be - via torrents.

Sites come and go. The data is the only thing that matters. RIP mininova.

don't buy anything in the same price bracket, you won't find what you're looking for in the beginning as you don't actually know what you're looking for, research for a few months whilst saving up then get a 300$ pair so it'll actually sound "better" to your ears, then stick with that for a while and then eventually in a year or so pickup a 500-650$ iem and call it quits, maybe pickup a slightly better dap/dac than what you already have once you have the 300$ iem, I can personally recommend the questyle m15i and the hifiwalker h2 with rockbox.

Why do people shill apple products so much on this board? Being a "fan" of apple or microsoft is not having an interest in technology, it's having an interest in consumerism and brand loyalty. I think asashi is a cool project because I'd never use something so locked down.

According to my findings and sonnet this version of Minecraft runs a two phase generation system. Phase 1 in one thread does basic terrain gen and cave carving (simple noise that doesn’t require neighboring data) then in another thread phase 2 does foliage, trees, big mushrooms. Before a chunk starts phase 2 it checks to make sure all neighboring chunks completed phase 1 first. What’s interesting though is that Features (the tree feature at least) during phase 2 are given the entire Level as a reference so theoretically they can attempt to place blocks anywhere in the world. What’s weird is it doesn’t seem like Mojang has any checks in place to ensure a feature doesn’t go out of bounds. There might be a comment in the code somewhere but I just assume it said in their internal documentation to make sure a feature’s span doesn’t exceed X number of blocks. Larger features (structures) like villages and dungeons are done through a different system. I’ll have to investigate further.

Microsoft isn't really as good at rallying developers and users to a new architecture like Apple is. Third-party Windows developers just don't seem to be as passionate about Windows as Mac developers are about macOS or Linux developers are about Linux.

As soon as Apple unveiled they were moving to Intel back in 2005, Mac developers were already on the way, and the same thing happened for the move to Apple silicon back in 2020.

Why does reddit feel toxic but 4chan doesn't?

The fucking mods decide the rule and if they don't like it then fuck you. The subreddits are just echo chamber so if you have an unpopular opinion to them then you are done, enjoy getting raped.
>>
>>108278324 (OP)
because the worst thing that can happen is getting zero (You)s

even if you make an abhorrent post but dozens of anons responded you still get some dopamine, it's not like being downvoted on reddit where the more people shit on you the less interaction you get
>>
Dunno about toxic but the format of reddit is completely nonsensical to me. It facilitates no discussion, it's like a shittier SO, because you can only post comments as an answer to the OP comment.
I genuinely don't get how you're supposed to use it.
>>
>>108295347
>I genuinely don't get how you're supposed to use it.
the bots are supposed to repost content from elsewhere on the internet and then the humans are supposed to click the orange arrow and type "I agree" and other variations of it.
They're working on making it so the bots can handle the second part too so that they can harvest maximum investor capital.
>>
because no matter what the retards on reddit and on here will make you believe, reddit is a fucking hivemind where you'll get your posts removed for having an opinion a mod doesn't like or that goes against the official political stance of reddit. on reddit you'll go on a thread about welding and the top comment will be some shit about how trump bad or some other faggotry about american politics with other redditors clapping like seals.
here you can post trannies on a the origami board or the roundhouse kick tnd pasta on /v/ and you'll get warned. you can express a political opinion that "majority" of users don't like and the most that will happen is people will call you words you don't like. on reddit you'll get banned.
it's freedom of expression, and not having an identity linked to your posts. i can get called a subhuman retard on one board and then go and have an interesting conversation with some anons on another, no matter what i said before. and it's somewhat uncensored.
in a way, it's like talking to your friends. while reddit is a sanitized platform, like a workplace. you can't say something naughty or there will be consequences. you have to be le decent human being.

As far as I know, there are two methods of installing a Linux distro: offline and online. Age verification may work if the user installs the Linux package online, but offline, it doesn't. The entire installation process is done locally without sending any user data.

It depends on the actual popularity of the torrent. I don't have a seedbox, so I can't just seed 24/7. Some torrents never even get a 1:1 ratio, even though I tend to keep the files up for quite some time, because barely anybody requests them. With more popular ones I can easily get a 10:1 ratio. I'm happy to share but I can't keep things forever just for the sake of it.
