In her first Dallas show in 3 years, Dua Lipa pays homage to Kelly Clarkson

British pop artist Dua Lipa made it a point to tell her audience at the American Airlines Center that every show is different.

Thanks to the Google, fans have a 99.01 percent chance to know what an artist’s entire setlist is before the actual show, leaving a performer almost powerless to surprise their audience.

On Tuesday night at the ACC during her Radical Optimism Tour performance, Lipa told the 18,000 fans, “Every night we do something different.”

To do this, Lipa ripped off an electric cover of a song that was first performed by someone who happened to be born in Fort Worth and was raised in Burleson. Lipa’s cover of Kelly Clarkson’s “Since U Been Gone” was not the highlight of the 2-hour show, but was the surprising twist and tweak that even prepared fans did not expect.
