Just take out you're sd card for once to install the Ghost Eshop. It's a library of Nes, Snes, 3ds and ds games.

It doesn’t have most games tho it has bloody pirates of the Caribbean but no ds mystery dungeon games
I FIGURED IT OUT! In ghost eshop settings, pick "Select eShop" and make sure it's set to "ghosteshop-ds.unistore"! This is where all of the ds games are :)

You could use FTPD (homebrew app) to transfer .nds files from PC/mobile to 3ds or alternatively, using a flashcard (ds game card with an sd slot to store games and content) and an sd card reader to USB for pc too. Just note that FTP is rather slow even if you use local connection so it could be worth gathering several games you want to place onto your 3ds and just take the sd card for one large transfer. As for getting the games, while I am unsure of the rules on this reddit group of suggesting site names, if you were to search 'nds roms' on Google, you're bound to find several sites offering them.

I just got the Ghost eShop app to work. Just follow the link posted above, the website has a download QR code you can scan in the FBI app and it'll automatically install it.
