Liulong (pronounced L'YOU-long), or 六隆, is a newborn female killer whale calf who currently lives at Chimelong Spaceship in China. She was born tail-first on February 15th, 2026. Her mother is Sonya and her father is currently unknown.
Birth & Early Life[]
Liulong's birth was announced on March 3rd, 2026, during a presentation for World Wildlife Day at Chimelong Spaceship.[1] Later that same day, a Chinese media source published an article confirming Liulong's name and sex.[2]
