1) Here's how: just as in the real world, what are the current flash points (disputes over valuable resources like oil)? And, where haven't we heard from in a long while? With those in mind, follow 25 important NPCs (Szass Tam, Manshoon, etc.). What are they up to? #realmslore

I'd love to be a fly on that wall and just see how you develop such!

Generate a local broadsheet (newspaper) headline about what they're doing, or a rumour about it. How might it get twisted/inflated if retold by a tavern drunk? Gather the 25 results, and there's your current clack. Wars first. #realmslore

Which one of the supervillain immortal evil world-threatening NPC villains would be the most pleasant to have tea with? Which one would be the easiest to talk out of a lethal encounter?

Depends on you. ;} However, if we include dead as well as the living, good candidates would be: Tea: Syluné or Shaaan the Serpent Queen and talk out: Larloch or The Simbul #realmslore

@TheEdVerse does it again a simple answer to making your Realms interesting! I’m in prep for my son’s Middle School RPG club ( yes D&D still gives people an occult vibe that we changed the name and add more RPG to the mix) and this will be great to help get the kids started!

Hey, that's kinda how I've been running the Realms, as well as my own setting: Nulna! I fill out a calendar with the different things happening where and when, then the PCs' decisions, actions, and inaction inform how and if that calendar changes. Living world!

That sounds very much like how I approach Traveller: what are the Hi pop worlds up to, what's their relationship to the megacorps, and what trickles down to the level of the adventurers?
